Anti government rallies and demonstrations chanting "Down with Dictator" in Tehran; sporadic confrontations in various parts of the city

ICFTO - People of Tehran, chanting "Down with dictator", gathered in central locations and main streets of Tehran on the first anniversary of February 14th uprising for solidarity with the uprisings in the region and Arab Spring. Around Azadi square, Vali Asr square and street, Narmak's Haft Howz, Imam Hossein square, streets leading to Tehran's University, Takht-e-Tavoos, Vanak square, College intersection, Eskandari street, North Khosh and Ekbatan are among these locations. Last night also the people in Tehran protested by chanting Allah-o-Akbar and Down with dictator from the rooftops.

ICFTO- Workers of the Amir Kabir Petrochemical Company located in Port Mahshahr (southern Iran) continued their strike for the fourth consecutive day on Wednesday, November 9th.
