Based on a document obtained from IRGC: Transfer of Ashraf residents to Camp Liberty is aimed at annihilation of mullahs’ legitimate opposition
Iraqi Prime Ministry assures Iranian regime to paralyze PMOI in Camp Liberty
- Iranian Resistance has attained a document from inside the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) which says that following the transfer of the first group of Ashraf residents to Camp Liberty, the Iraqi prime ministry has reassured the Quds Force and regime's ambassador in Baghdad that members of the PMOI would be crippled in Liberty and would become politically dead. This shocking document leaves no ambiguity that the project for transfer of Ashraf residents to Camp Liberty is entirely to the wishes of the clerical regime with the objective of destroying this regime's democratic and legitimate opposition. THE HILL (Congress Blog) - By Ken Maginnis 21 Feb 2012
ICFTO- Three days after the settlement of a group of Ashraf residents stationed in Camp Liberty, it has become even clearer that contrary to the January 31st statement of UNAMI and the Special Representative of the Secretary-General as well as the shoddy report of a shelter expert on January 30th, the conditions of the camp is far away from international humanitarian standards and little doubt has been left that the relocation of residents to this camp has been a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and international human rights law.
Lord Corbett, the Noble Conscience of the People of the United Kingdom
ICFTO- Forty-eight hours into entering Camp Liberty of 397 Ashraf residents, everything shows that at the behest of the Iranian regime, the Iraqi government has turned this camp into a prison and regretfully, UNAMI and Mr. Martin Kobler himself, the Special Representative of Secretary-General, assist in this prison-making by confirming it as a refugee camp.
